Professional Marketing Experience

A story of the

Mean Bean

From a marketing standpoint, I embarked on my career in 2013 after graduating from FGCU with a B.S. in Marketing.

I’ve held 2 Marketing Director roles for local firms for 4.5 years and a role at an agency as a Sr. Account Manager for the last 6 years.

What does that mean? I’ve done every role in marketing imaginable. Design, copywriting, strategy, omnichannel media buying, budget allocation, traditional & digital advertising, and the list goes on and on.

The First exclusive Full Service Marketing Agency in southwest Florida

What's an exclusive marketing agency? Simple, I've spent 6 years at an agency where I saw first hand the level of service a small business receives vs a large client. We're here to change that. Mean Bean Marketing will only take on 5 retainer clients at a time. This ensures that each client receives a fair portion of time and effort dedicated to building their strategies and marketing efforts.

We're not your agency, we're your guiding partner in Marketing.

My clients love the Mean Bean

LOL! Yes and no! Our approach to your strategy and vendors is mean. But we’re not mean to our clients. Mean Bean has enough experience to know that our clients are our friends, however, we also know that our vendors need to be treated in a very specific way to maximize your returns.

In essence, all Marketing Agencies are the same, but each specializes in a different niche. Our niche is small businesses. We offer small businesses the full-service agency experience without the cost. Plus we are the first exclusive full-service marketing agency in Southwest Florida, we only take on 5 retainer clients at a time to ensure maximum results.

If you’re inquiring about this, that is awesome. You’re one step ahead of the competition in terms of finding a marketing partner. Mean Bean Marketing specializes in local businesses that offer services or products to their customers. We will not do national campaigns.

This isn’t a very easy question to answer without any background on what you want from your website. The general rule of thumb here is websites start at $1,500 and go up from there based on the number of pages you have and what additional services you want to add such as Search Engine Optimization or other functionality such as an e-commerce store.

We charge by the project. We don’t believe in hourly rates to ensure full transparency to our customers. Imagine expecting a 10-hour project and you get billed for 20, that’s a lose-lose for everyone involved.

Absolutely we do. These are some of the best ways to drum up business… as long as your accounts are fully optimized and you’re prepared for that type of investment.

Google ads tend to be much more expensive than Facebook / Instagram ads. However, they also have a much higher user intent than social media ads. It all depends on what you’re ready for.
